See your sent follow requests on Instagram

A list of follow requests to private accounts that are still pending, with dates, from your official Instagram export. No password.

Where Instagram keeps sent requests

The Instagram app has no handy list of the follow requests you sent. They are in your data export: the "Followers and following" section includes a file with pending requests. unfollowig reads it and lists them on the Pending requests tab, with the date of each one.

How to see them

  1. Request the "Followers and following" export in Accounts Center (step-by-step guide below).
  2. Drop the ZIP from Instagram's email into the box above. No need to unzip.
  3. Open the Pending requests tab. If there's no such tab, you have no pending requests.

Why cancel old requests

Requests that have been pending for months do nothing, and a large number of them can look like spam to Instagram. To cancel one, open the account's profile, tap "Requested" and cancel. Tap a username in the list to open the profile.

Three steps and you see it all

We read Instagram's official data export right in your browser.

  1. Request your export

In Instagram Accounts Center, request "Followers and following" for all time.

  2. Drop the ZIP

Drag the file from Instagram's email here. No need to unzip.

  3. See and compare

Every upload is saved as a snapshot — compare them to find who left.

Step-by-step export guide
  1. Open Accounts Center → Your information → Download your information.
  2. Tap "Download or transfer information" → pick your profile → "Some of your information".
  3. Select "Followers and following" (under Connections). Want your profile photo in the dashboard? Also tick "Personal information". → "Download to device".
  4. Date range "All time", format JSON (so follow dates are included). Tap "Create files".
  5. In a few minutes (sometimes up to a day) you'll get an email — download the ZIP and drop it here.

FAQ

Do you need my Instagram password?

No, never. We only read the official data export you download from Instagram yourself.

Can my account get banned?

No. We never log into your account or send requests to Instagram — we just read a file.

Where is my data stored?

In this browser on this device. If you turn on sync in your account, the server also keeps an encrypted copy only you can open. Delete it all with the button at the bottom of the page.

What's the difference between "don't follow back" and "unfollowed"?

"Don't follow back" means they don't follow you now (maybe never did). "Unfollowed" means they were in your previous snapshot and are gone in the new one. That needs two exports from different dates.

Why is someone listed as unfollowed when they still follow me?

They may have changed their username, or deleted or deactivated their account. Treat results as hints, not proof.

Is it free?

Yes. Analysis and comparisons are free.
