About unfollowig

Last updated

unfollowig is an independent web tool that shows who unfollowed you on Instagram and who doesn't follow you back. No password, no login.

Why we built it

Almost every "who unfollowed me" app asks for your Instagram login. That breaks Instagram's rules and leads to restricted accounts and leaked passwords. Yet Instagram already lets everyone download an export with all their followers. We built a tool that simply reads that export well.

How it works under the hood

  • The ZIP is opened right in your browser with JavaScript. The file is never uploaded.
  • Snapshots and marks are stored in your browser's IndexedDB. Delete them with one button.
  • We never send requests to Instagram or log into your account.
  • Easy to verify: open the site, go offline and load your export. It still works.

How we make money

Follower analysis is free. The service is funded by the paid Boost section (followers, likes, views). You never have to use it, and it doesn't affect the analysis.

Independence

unfollowig is not affiliated with or endorsed by Instagram or Meta. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.
